Frank Schmidt has been the Chief Executive Officer of Onventis GmbH since February 1, 2013. The Economics graduate completed a degree in Business Administration (Foreign Trade, with a major in International Management) at Reutlingen University after his training to become an export merchant. Prior to his work at Onventis GmbH, Frank Schmidt was Managing Director at the international IT service provider Atos from 1997 to 2006. As a member of the management of Atos Central Europe, he was responsible for the solution business and worked in senior management and sales functions in Germany and abroad during his 10-year career. Most recently, he was the board member responsible for sales and marketing at Heiler Software AG in Stuttgart as well as being responsible for strategic alliances.

Heiko Rumpl is Chief AI Officer (CAIO) at Onventis and drives the further development and integration of artificial intelligence into the Onventis product portfolio. Previously, he headed the company’s entire product division. After earning a degree in business administration with a focus on marketing, finance, and logistics, the e-business expert spent 15 years at the European MRO distribution company Brammer. There, he helped build the e-business structures, introduced a group-wide master data management system, and further developed the e-commerce portfolio. In the meantime, he served for three years as a member of the executive board at Heiler Software AG and headed product management for the company’s standard software products.

Managing Director Benelux
Jerker Vulperhorst is Managing Director for Benelux and oversees Onventis' operations in the Benelux countries. In this role, he drives market development and strengthens the regional expansion of the Onventis platform. Prior to the integration of WorkFlowWise into the Onventis Group, he worked for over twelve years in commercial roles at the invoice processing specialist and supported numerous clients in implementing solutions in the areas of invoice and expense management. He studied Business Administration at the University of Amsterdam and spent part of his studies in the United States.

Zoran Steko is Chief Operating Officer (COO) and oversees the Consulting, Customer Success, and Marketing divisions. He has been a member of Onventis’s Management Board for over 10 years and was previously responsible for Strategic Alliances and Business Development. Zoran has more than 25 years of experience in the development, marketing, and sales of standard software and SaaS solutions. The graduate in economics began his career in the corporate business development department at Dresdner Bank AG before moving into the IT industry. There, he served as a member of the executive board at Heiler Software AG and as a board member at OKS Software AG, among other roles.
van den Boorn
Dolf van den Boorn

Dolf van den Boorn is Chief Product Officer at Onventis, where he is responsible for global product strategy, innovation, and portfolio development across digital procurement and finance solutions. With over 15 years of SaaS experience, including deep expertise in invoice-to-pay, he began his career at BCT in the Netherlands before joining Onventis in 2021 as strategic Product Manager. Before becoming CPO, he led Onventis’ global product management and development teams, shaping the international product strategy and driving the continuous development of the company’s Source-to-Pay portfolio.

Tilo Schmalz

Tilo Schmalz is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and oversees the Onventis Group’s finance department. At Onventis, he focuses on the internationalization of financial processes, the expansion of scalable systems, and the further development of a comprehensive financial strategy to support the Group’s next phase of growth. Previously, he served as Group CFO of the PROCAD Group, a B2B software provider of PLM, DLM, and CPQ solutions, where his responsibilities included leading several post-merger integrations. Until 2021, he managed a broad investment portfolio—ranging from startups to international buyouts—at the private equity and venture capital firm LEA Partners.

Benjamin Fritz is Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and a member of the Executive Board at Onventis. He oversees the global sales organization and partner business and shapes the company’s scalable go-to-market strategy. His focus is on sustainable growth, international expansion, and the further development of a modern, data-driven sales model. After earning a degree in business administration from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, he began his career at the Brammer Group (now RUBIX). He worked there for several years and, most recently, served as Head of IoT Development, where he was responsible for developing strategic IoT initiatives.
